I'm Mel.

As of AD2024, drawing is still my pillar of sanity. Even if the foundation feels worn down by the crashing waves of a responsible life. dA is no longer my main uploading space, but remains my largest publicly available gallery and every now and again something might still pop up. So take it with a grain of salt if ye are appraising my skill, I suppose. Lots of history here.

I'm the type of artist that grew up holding to a medium:

Self-taught, ever-learning, and hard to catch with free time.

I don't feel I have a distinctive style, though once I dreamed of something semi-realistic yet bound to fantasy. The better to bring life to strange things.

Pen and paper are old friends. Digital still feels odd for detailing, but we get along ok.

Influences vary from video games and anime to cloud watching and the way music feels.
